Ever see a judge become totally speechless after previously reading a Pro Per Plaintif the riot act for having the audacity to enter his/ her courtroom?????????? It is an A W S O M E thing to behold. If I had not seen it with my own eyes, I would nNEVER in a million years believed what I witnessed. My home will soon be returned to me and then I’m going after them all……from the Judge to the clerk who illegally recorded the illegal foreclosure documents…….Hey Angelo…………..YOU ARE ON THE LIST, TOO.

day one in court
April 15, 2009 by praetorian5Okay, so I get off the bus, walk the seven blocks to the court and the doors are locked….hour and a half to go. Find the courtroom, (10), and sit outside waiting for 0830hrs. No calender outside so I’m not sure if this is still a go. 0835, doors are unlocked and the crowd moves as one into the court scrambling for seats. Funny thing, the lawyers on one side, the common people on the other. Me, I sat on the side with the lawyers. Court was called to order and one by one the cases were called until case 17 was called. The opposing counsel’s voice rang from a speaker concealed on the judge’s bench as I approached the plaintiff’s table, placing and opening my briefcase before me. counsel identified himself and the judge in turn asked who I was. Michael Riddick, your honor, standing in for my wife and plaintiff, Arlene Riddick. Are you a lawyer, she asked? No ma’am, my wife is unable to attend because she has anxiety attacks if she comes into a courtroom. She wouldn’t be able to stand here longer than a minute before she would have to bolt from the room. Looking at me as if I were some virus infecting her courtroom, she told me that I had no standing to speak in her courtroom since I was neither the plaintiff, nor was I on the complaint, and I needed to move away from the table and have a seat in the audience. Looking at her, nonplussed, I stated that the fact that I have been married to the plaintiff for the past 30 years, the fact that we purchased the home with my G.I. bill, and the fact that I have paid the mortgage for the past 13 years, shows a vested interest in the property and as such, I should be allowed to speak on her behalf. Again, she looked at me and summarily dismissed what I had said and told me to sit down, I had no authority to speak. She then proceeded to question the opposing counsel about why he filed and served documents with a write in date on them. Counsel could not answer to her satisfaction, stating the person responsible for the actual documentation was not in the office yet. The judge informed him to locate said person and do it by second call. She then proceeded to call the remaining cases. Knowing there were 12 remaining cases, I stepped outside the courtroom to gather my thoughts and call my advisor. Not being able to contact him, I went back into the courtroom to hear the judge exclaim, “Oh there you are. I granted the demurer, but I am going to allow you 20 days to amend your complaint and return to this courtroom.” Looking at her, eyes narrowed to almost closing, I thanked her, and departed the courtroom.
